SANAA: Yemen’s Iran-backed Houthi rebels threatened on Saturday to assault any vessels heading to Israeli ports except meals and drugs had been allowed into the besieged Gaza Strip.
The newest warning comes amid heightened tensions within the Crimson Sea and surrounding waters following a sequence of maritime assaults by Houthi rebels because the begin of the Israel-Hamas battle on October 7.
In an announcement posted on social media, the Houthis mentioned they “will stop the passage of ships heading to the Zionist entity” if humanitarian support is just not allowed into Hamas-ruled Gaza.
